Within minutes of posting our crawfish weekend guide (of which we only listed two) we caught holy hell from a few readers because we left out their boil. As much as we would like to give notice of the many backyard boils across the city, you may not appreciate a few thousand craveDFW readers poking through your fence to join the party.
However we do have a few more that everyone is invited to attend.
Hacienda on Henderson is throwing their First Annual JazzFest with $25 all-you-can-eat crawfish while it lasts, and we heard they bought 500 pounds of mudbugs. In addition they will be throwing down $3 Hurricanes and entertain their masses with live music by Fish Fry Bingo. The event benefit’s the Red Cross to assist with the needs from the recent tornado devastation in the area. Join the fun Saturday, April 21, 2012 from noon to 5pm.
Looking for FREE crawfish? Me too. Check out The Grapevine at 3902 Maple Avenue Saturday, April 28, 2012 from 3pm til 2am where they will be royally boiling crawdads for free. Drinks are strong and happy hour is all day until 7pm. I have persoanlly been to plenty of these annual boils at the Grapevine and can attest that Jon Bryan kicks some major butt when it comes to making them just right.
Feel free to keep sending us your crawfish parties around Dallas and we will keep posting them until we eat every last one of the mudbugs.
